Housing
De Paul House accommodation caters for various family sizes, with housing facilities at its main site and residential properties primarily across North Auckland. Our accommodation ranges from self-contained units, stand-alone houses, to a small shared facility with night staff support.
Family Support & Sustaining Tenancies
At De Paul House, family support service takes several forms. Our core focus is achieving safe and secure housing with social work support. In addition, we offer a service for families and individuals requiring help with keeping their rental property. This support for tenancies includes:

Problems with neighbours

Budgeting issues

Problems with Landlord -Private/Kāinga Ora

Close to eviction
We also assist with provision of food, clothing, household goods and furniture, financial management services, and parenting classes.
Community Learning Centre (CLC)
Our Community Learning Centre offers educational, and social opportunities to adults of both resident and community-based families and individuals. Programmes cover a wide range of skills and certificated courses.
Free childcare is available.
Playgroup (ECE)
Playgroup develops school readiness and confidence; all of which are essential to a child’s wellbeing and future success. Parents and preschool children learn together through play in our spacious well-equipped centre. Playgroup has qualified and experienced staff and a team of outstanding volunteers.
Playgroup is open Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm during school term only and is available to all De Paul House resident families and those attending the Community Learning Centre.
Current residents of De Paul House are required to register with their social worker.
